Hourly manufacturing labor rates in China

China is not only one of the largest trading partners with the United States it is also a manufacturing destination with one of the lowest hourly manufacturing labor rate costs.

Information below is for calendar years 2002 through 2004. Readers are reminded it can prove difficult to source reliable and comprehensive data from China, at times, due to some Chinese government limitations.

On the above note, compensation costs presented for China may not be directly comparable with hourly compensation information found on VentureOutsource.com for other countries.

Are there more up to date manufacturing rates for China, 2006, 2007 and perhaps 2008? Do you have 2007 or more current rates for other countries as well?
