Enics job loss in Varkaus, Finland

The Swiss electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, Enics, said yesterday Enics will begin cooperation procedure talks.

The the objective of the discussion are said to result in the loss of 186 jobs in Varkaus, Finland.

From Enics’ statement release, the firm said, “Since most products from Enics’ Varkaus customer service centre are so-called volume products, the centre’s operations are becoming unprofitable.”

Enics employs about 500 people in Finland.
