Mexico v Taiwan: US tariff exposure for ODM hardware, by ODM company, per nation

By Staff

Almost 70% of Wiwynn’s cloud server equipment is assembled in Mexico. Wiwynn is Wistron’s cloud hardware subsidiary. On the other hand, Pegatron provides only reverse logistics repair services so impact to Pegatron with tariffs imposed on Mexico imports to the US would be minimal. This analysis looks at the ODM production facilities in Mexico and Taiwan, and product impact (exposure) by percent revenue contribution, for the following companies:

  • Hon Hai
  • Quanta
  • Wistron
  • Wiwynn
  • Inventec
  • Pegatron
  • Compal

We look at product revenue exposure for hardware from these ODM companies ranging from motherboards and servers to televisions, and the percent amount of production from the ODM for that product. Please contact us for more info.
