Become an electronics industry thought leader. Develop new relationships. Enhance your industry exposure worldwide
Our readers are smart. They also have influence. If you want to get in front of our readers, we’ll help you. We’re always interested in speaking with insightful, smart people who want to write articles. You’ll find helpful tips below.
Tips for publishing on VentureOutsource.com
Use a conversational yet authoritative tone, without compromising clarity or correctness. Excessive formality is not required to express authority. Good articles are top-of-mind priority in the reader’s mind. When considering topics for our audience, think narrow and deep — not broad and shallow.
Articles can contain graphs, charts and images.
Don’t use unnecessary jargon, trendy construction, vagueness, and buzzwords. Keep the fluff out.
Good articles have hooks. Identify your hooks. Your primary hook should be in the first two sentences. You should also have secondary hooks to keep your audience interested and reading further (e.g., subheads, bulleted lists, and questions our readers want answers to).
Keep your readers in mind
Get to the point. Our readers are experienced professionals passionate about creating specific business outcomes that can assist their organizations to succeed and grow faster than the competition. You will offend readers if you dumb down your article.
Articles are not promotional pieces for your company or services. Articles should share expertise without obnoxious self-promotion so readers view you as an expert capable of helping them solve their problems.
Make connections
Your articles stand a better chance of our users sharing them with others, plus you will be seen as a ‘connected’ resource, if your articles include quotes from industry. Readers will also see your articles as having greater depth.
Additionally, asking managers or executives from other organizations if they can be quoted in your articles provides opportunities for you to reach out and contact industry thought leaders. This process can help you form new business relationships with individuals you may not have had a chance to engage previously. People love to hear that you’re interested in what they have to say and they like that you are willing to quote them in your article.
Promise and deliver
Give readers what your article subject or topic promises, place emphasis on helping readers learn or understand something they need to know. You’ll make a name for yourself in industry and gain a following when your intentions are honest and supportive.
