Dominique Numakura

Dominique Numakura is the founder and managing director of DKN Research Group and Publisher of EPT Newsletter. He has worked in the circuit board and electronics packaging industries for more than 25 years. He writes for VentureOutsource.com on industry and related business matters pertaining to Japan and the Far East.

Over the past ten years, Dominique has developed various advanced technologies using high-density substrates and other materials. He has presented more than 100 papers at major conferences and authored various books on electronic packaging technologies. Several of his books on flexible circuit technologies have been translated into Korean and Chinese and, collectively, are referred to by many in industry as the bible of flexible circuit technology.

Dominique holds a masters degree in Physical Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry from Japan's Ibaraki University. He is a senior member of several historical organizations, with more than 20 historical articles to his credit, and he is recognized as a talented historian specializing in the 'transfer of culture' to Japan, from Europe and North America, during the 19th Century. Dominique also exhibits talent as a semi-professional sketch artist which he draws upon while creating artistic records of historical architecture in New England.
