About me ...

Mark Lyell has many years of executive level electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and supply chain management experience to help OEM’s navigate through the in-house vs. outsourced analysis, planning and transition processes.

Mark’s insights into the inner-workings of the EMS supply base are an invaluable asset for developing a formal outsourced strategy and the selection of suitable partners based upon that strategy. In addition to his work with OEMs, Mark assists EMS providers to develop new services to expand their market opportunities with new and existing customers.

Prior to starting WaveCycle Inc. in 2009, Mark held various management and executive positions in business development, materials management and operations at EMS providers Pragmatech (acquired by Sanmina-SCI); Sigmatron International, ACT Manufacturing, and Flextronics. He has been involved in numerous successful turn-around and M&A efforts.

Mark has been published in numerous trade publications, is a frequent speaker at trade conferences and has co-authored design and technology patents filed with the U.S. Patent Office. Mark has degrees in business administration from California State University, Hayward and mechanical engineering from Master’s Institute of Technology, Santa Clara.
