About me ...

I grew up in North Mississippi and made my way out to the west coast when I was 23 years old. A few months after arriving I began work for Aisling Industries as a Junior Buyer, and I am now the Director of Materials. I previously had changed my college degree several times, but after entering the Electronic Manufacturing Industry I realized business would definitely be the path for me. I rather enjoy my job and the challenges that come along with keep a full supply chain for my company.
Outside of work i'm also chipping away at my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and plan on continuing until I have earned my Masters.

My thoughts on ...
EMS companies I have worked with
Aisling Industries (6 years now...)

The skills I often see lacking in the EMS industry today
Lack of urgency on the raw component suppliers and manufacturers part. Raw materials manufacturers must realize they hold a great responsibility in getting the economy back on its feet. After a couple of years of less than great sales, when new production orders do start to come in, the last thing we need to hear is "40 weeks lead time"

What I think about low-cost manufacturing
It's absolutely necessary to not drive up costs that will be passed to the end consumer and therefore create inflation and the downfall of the US dollar.

My thoughts on what makes a good program manager
Taking care of the customer (no matter how big or small) should always be the #1 priority!!! If that's a program manager's main goal, all steps along the way will fall perfectly into place.

If I could travel back in time and witness any event one would be
Woodstock !!

Someone I would most like to sit next to at a dinner party
Right between Abe Lincoln and Marilyn Monroe would be my spot of choice!

The ultimate consumer electronics product I would still like to see developed
Completely Wireless Charging of Anything (cell phone, laptop, ipad)....(but I really don't see how that would even be possible..) We'll get there one day!

A favorite electronics gadget
I love my iPad...Can't live without it...
