Ames Gross is president and founder of Pacific Bridge, Inc., a recruitment and human resource consulting firm focused on Asia.
Mr. Gross founded Pacific Bridge in 1988 and has been involved in recruiting and human resources issues in Asia for over 20 years. He has written for 'The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Global Forum', 'Benefits and Compensation International', 'China Economic Review', 'International HR Journal', 'HR Magazine', and 'HR Focus'.
Mr. Gross has presented speeches on Asian recruiting and human resources management and issues for the Society for Human Resources Management in Washington, DC, the National Foreign Trade Council in New York City and other human resources organizations.
Prior to establishing Pacific Bridge, Mr. Gross gained broad experience, knowledge and contacts in Asia while working on Wall Street at First Boston Corporation, Salomon Brothers, and Smith Barney. Mr. Gross has a BA (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.
