About the Instructor - Eric O. Olsen, Ph.D.
Dr. Olsen is lean practitioner and senior consultant with Mark Zetter & Co. and Venture Outsource. Dr. Olsen received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from Ohio State University. His dissertation, Lean Manufacturing Management: The relationship between practice and firm-level financial performance and, industry experience helping organizations understand and apply lean methods, serve as the foundation for the events. Dr. Olsen is also Professor of Industrial Technology at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, where he teaches MBA students operations course work with focus on Lean Manufacturing and course work in Industrial Planning and Control.
