Job Description:

• Managing and executing corporate and divisional strategy projects, working closely with senior management and business unit/functional team members.
• Assessing new market opportunities for Johnson Electric.
• Requires evaluation of market size and trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, technologies, sources of advantage, fit to Johnson Electric, and financials.
• Requires primary / secondary market research and financial modeling.
• Developing strategic business plans that consolidate divisional/business unit plans and provide a corporate portfolio perspective and insight.
• Identifying and evaluating potential acquisition and joint venture opportunities and managing the execution of such transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative capabilities in assessing markets, competitors and new technologies.
• Ability to present analysis and complex business topics to senior management in a clear and articulate manner.
• Experienced in preparing business plans and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
• Accomplished financial modeling skills.
• High level of energy and drive to get tasks accomplished on time; a “self-starter”.
• Comfortable with performing a wide range of responsibilities, from thinking broadly to executing detailed tasks.
• Professional and composed management style; able to work with various functions and levels in an organization.
• An individual of high personal integrity with general management capability / potential.

Academic & Personal Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering), Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent degree), and 3-6 years post MBA related work experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or business planning/strategy group of a large corporation.
