Sanmina-SCI names new president, chief operating officer

Sanmina-SCI Corp., a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, today named Joseph R. Bronson president and chief operating officer.
San Jose-based Sanmina-SCI said Mr. Bronson will also join the company's board.
Mr. Bronson will be responsible for business execution; financial results, operational performance, and the overall development and growth strategy, the company said.
Mr. Bronson most recently served as president and director of Livermore-based FormFactor Inc. Before that he spent 20 years at in senior positions at Santa Clara-based Applied Materials Inc.
